Hi! My name is Isabella, but most people call me Izzy. I’m a super sweet girl who is really hoping to find a patient and understanding person to call my own. I was found living in the woods where I had to survive on my own for several weeks, until a few volunteers and neighbors were able to catch me and take me to my foster home where I am learning how great it is to be a part of a family! I’m a very sweet and laid-back girl, and I love other dogs! I would love a home with another friendly, calm companion. Although I’m laid back and shy, I do need exercise still, I’m a young girl who needs to run!

With the help of Cecelia Towner, my foster mom and trainer at Trusting the Heart Dog Training and Animal Communication, I’ve gained all sorts of basic training and relationship-building skills: I am housebroken and know sit and I am currently working on stay. I can be left home alone for 4 hours a day, so a work-from-home mom or rotating work schedule would be best for me. I can get nervous about life and transitions, so we will need to go very slow with my foster-to-adopt transition. My potential new family will receive private in-home training sessions with Cecelia Towner at Trusting the Heart Dog Training.
