Description:

Hello, my name is Lillian! Gaze at my gorgeous coat and you will see hints of my ancestral desert royalty. I still do bear some of that regal presence and entitlement, and have the big personality to match, but these days I’m mostly just your friendly house cat. I do like people and I do like lots of attention. I can be quite affectionate, in fact, and enjoy lots of pats. I play, too! I do have my limits, though, and my people should be aware of them. Younger kids may thus not be a good match for me. I also can get along with other cats, if they’re respectful.

Despite my royal descent, I’ve been treated pretty shabbily in my own past, being bounced from household to household over the years. In fact at one point I fractured my femur and no one noticed for days. Then they gave me to a shelter! Veterinarians fixed things as best they could, but I’ve suffered chronic pain ever since. Between the home instability and pain, I communicated my discomfort by improper litter box use, and that led to further returns. Here at Cat Adoption Team the hospital has put me on pain and supportive medicines and I’m finally beginning to feel good again. I have a room that I share with another mellow cat and I’m learning to use the litter box properly - they even provide a selection of litters, so I can use the one I’m most comfortable with!

Really what I’m really looking for is some stability in my life, and someone willing to love me unconditionally and provide the support I need. This time I really am looking for my forever home, one where my people appreciate the love I can give, not to mention the royalty of my bloodline. Will that home be yours?
