Hi. My name is Sunshine and as Destiny’s Child says, “I’m a Survivor”. Although you won’t find me on stage singing because I’m a bit shy and timid, I just want to be loved. My foster parents say I’m a very special girl, quiet, mellow and loving. I’m not known for my grand gestures—a low tail wag of excitement when you come home or a little calf nudge if I really want your attention.

I am a big fan of food. I get especially excited when it’s time to eat. I’m usually very quiet but I’ve been known to bark my joy as my food is being prepped. Hehe. A girl has to speak up for what really matters.

I am extremely sensitive to loud noises so I need a calm, quite forever home to enjoy. I also really love my canine foster family too and would really like a calm older dog around my size or bigger who will enjoy hanging out with me. I think cats and small animals provide lots of fun to chase so I probably shouldn’t live with them. I almost forgot to mention that I do love turtles with their slow calm energy.

I really am not asking for much. A peaceful home in Southern California with no young (loud) children and parents who like to go for walks and spend time together. Does that sound like you?
